We offer custom (rectangle and square) shade panels & tarps made with Super Screen, Textilene® 80%, Textilene® 90%, and Coolaroo Commercial 95 Shade Fabric which are all commercial grade fabrics and will last greater than 10 years with good installation and proper care.   They have many uses including pergola covers, patio covers, lanai covers, sun shades, privacy screens, kennel covers, etc.   They can be made with grommets at your exact spacing or made with pockets for pipes or cables or any combination of these.   Some popular ways to mount the panels are with screws and rubber backed washers, UV protected zip ties, 1” x 2” wood battens (with fabric sandwiched between structure and batten), and laced with rope.   The key is to make sure that the panels are securely mounted and don’t flap around in the breeze, which will cause premature wearing.   On flat structures we recommend using Textilene 80% as tighter woven/knitted fabrics will trap water and puddle.  We also recommend taking down horizontally hung panels when there is a possibility of snow as the additional weight can damage the panel or your structure.

Panel Pricing:

• Super Screen - $1.25 per square foot if less than 85 sq./ft.   $1.00 for larger sizes
• 80% - $1.50 per square foot   if less than 85 sq./ft., $1.25 for larger sizes
• 90% - $1.75 per square foot   if less than 85 sq./ft., $1.50 for larger sizes
•  Commercial 95 - $1.75 per square foot for panels less than 100 sq./ft. and $1.50 for larger sizes.
• To calculate the approximate price for a panel (without grommets) multiply width in feet by height in feet times the per square foot price.

All sides are hemmed with a commercial grade fabric welder on Textilene® panels and double folded and sewn with ultra durable Tenara® thread on Commercial 95 panels. The thread is guaranteed to last as long as the fabric which can be 10 years or more. Panels can be configured to have pockets (for pipe) or spline in lieu of hems at no additional charge. Typical welded hems are 1 ¼”and sewn hems are 2” wide.

Maximum panel sizes are 18’ X 30’ for Commercial 95 and 8' X 30' for the Textilene 80% and 90% fabrics. Depending on panel size, choice of fabric and roll widths available, seams may be required. We will use the widest fabric available to eliminate seams whenever possible.

***Grommets are available for $0.75 each and placed every 12”, 18”, or 24” or where specified.   Grommets are solid brass #2 with spur washers and measure 1” outside dimension and 7/16” hole size.
